Question: Do you have a BA Granny!?
Trial of Sight
Part Twenty

Unwillingly, Cara’s sight of mind
fell into darkness
Loss of blood taking its’ toll
She could not sleep!
the nightmare would happen again
and this time
she would not live to seek revenge
A gentle hand held her head
Maybe this was her angel
finally come to take her away
from the pain
from the fear
from the Wolf
“Did you think I could let you fight
alone, my sweet Carolina Crimson!?
My little Red…”
a voice belonging to an Earth-bound angel
“Grandma,”
Cara spoke, week, silenced by a soft finger
“Did you think you were the only one
Who could wield a silver blade!?”

-There is only one more after this one… but I want to know what you think of this ending to the battle…

Yes, I happen to have a bad a** granny, two, in fact, well, maybe three if you count my great grandmother!. The thing I love about this poem, the protagonist is not triumphant, having come up with the brilliant thought last minute to kill the enemy!. You can only conquer your demons with aid!.

Your last two lines illustrate this perfectly!. In my mind, granny is not just saying "Did you think you were the only one/Who could wield a silver blade!?"

This says so much more than just that!. It says "Do you think you were the only one who had to bear the pain!. Do you think you are the only one who lost someone they loved!? Do you think you have to fight alone when I am here!?" So much strength and vulnerability, and instead of being a paradox, it is a brilliantly blatant truth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh how clever a twist, I wasn't expecting that!. The alpha male DemonWolf has been defeated by a second silver blade wielded by the grandmother!. I am nervously waiting now to see if Cara makes it, or whether she is mortally wounded!. This has been a riveting tale!. I cannot wait for the end! Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
