Question: "A Gift", A poem for comments, please!?
Our universal gift,
Fields of land
sand and dust,
below the sea,
asleep beneath rocks,
Flowing
oil, oil everywhere
none to spare!.
Power, greed, dysfuntion
stakes claim
to our universal dispair!.

Alas, too bad, too bad,
The wildcats of yester year
have disappeared!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To paraphrase "The Ancient Mariner," -- Oil, oil, everywhere/Nor any drop to spare!. Fortunately, unlike water, we can live on solar, wind and geothermal energy!. But we must get moving--NOW!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like!. A break between oil, oil everywhere and the next line would to me help transition from plenty to despair of today!. It is a gift that definitely has strings as we have become addicted!Www@QuestionHome@Com
