The life you bring

You are the sweet scent of flowers,
The essence of the Spring
I’m a bare and withered tree,
Dreaming of the life you bring,
Whenever you look and smile at me
Under the soft vernal-rain
You water my ever-thirsty roots
And I forget all my pain
You paint my naked boughs again
Green as they should be
You bring back the chirping birds
Oh, how they sing for me!
They build their nests amid my leaves
So neatly with their beaks
And I become a joyful tree
That’s what every bird seeks!

I'm an adopted child!. My upbringing was good, full of money and every thing I needed except real love!. My adopted mother was very possessive and tried to make me into a person I wasn't - she tried to make me like she is - and everything within me cried against it!.

Well, good news is I found my biological mother in May 1998 and we are so happy!. We love each other so much, also her husband and my two half sisters and my little half brother!. We are like a family that was never apart!.

But it's hard for my mother to understand me, to see the pain I still have so I wrote this to explain to her how I felt and what she must do when she doesn't understand my feelings and my moodsWww@QuestionHome@Com

One more minute for me to wait!.
Another second i want you herer with me,
the patience I will take!.

Another hour for you is worth it,
For just one minute of your kiss,
One more second of your company,
turned my life from heartache to bliss!.

Another hour I will wait for you,
Another day, a month, a year,
No matter how long it takes,
My boy i'll be waiting for you here!.

I miss you more than words can say,
Every word I speak is true,
Not an hour or minute of the day,
Will stop me loving you!.

Two into one

In this space we inhabit,
this body that sings
The mysterious madrigals
of the blood racing
through the organs
and preserving the brain
with its strings of neurons
that pulse in electric sequences--

signals that call our bodies
to join with another body
in the holy fragments of time—
we find our meaning!.
To express our spirits physically
in the bond of marriage—
a lifetime ritual of promises pledged
before witnesses--,
is our most ardent wish!.

This body which I offer you sings
since I’ve learned to read your face, to stroke the worries until you sleep,
awake to what you are—

Sonnet LI

Obey my feeble will for me, my treach’rous wayward eyes;
Harry not the stranger, this god-like man, around the room!.
My glances must not follow aft, his likeness to consume!.
Yet, could he be aware that I consider him a prize!?
Obey my waning will for me, my trait’rous shaking voice;
Hasten through the greeting, lest he hear the quiver in it!.
My words seem trite!. The whole event is over in a minute!.
Yet, should I make it clear to him that he would be my choice!?
Obey my dwindling will for once, my faintly trembling hand;
Handle the touching fingers with civility and grace!.
My grasp reveals desire -- I pray, not shown upon my face!.
Yet, can I keep it from him that a dormant spark’s been fanned!?
Obey!? Surrender to his will, my all-too-willing lips!
Have sympathy for those who cannot know these nectar’d sips!.
