Question: Do you listen to the weather reports!?
Summertime…

When last we left that morning pome
I go walking out the door
slapped in the face by a temperature
of at least 104!.
It’s not even eight, I groan to the cats
go into the ice box to see!.
Need how many liters of water today
to hydrate little ole’ me!?
I grab four and throw them in ice,
the insulated bag I take!.
screw up my courage, walk out the door
find out I’m breathing a lake!.
Before I could get five feet to the car
The sweat had started to pour!.
My hair went frizz, my ankles swelled
I’m not sure I can take much more!.
By ten the storm clouds are rising up
Yeah! I feel a breeze!
They collapsed like a bad soufflé
A Mother Nature tease!.
All my clothes are wet by three
With sweat, briny and stale!.
I walk to the shower like a bride to her bed
shucking her gown and veil!.
The skies are dark, yet no rain comes
but thunder, lightening abound!.
scares the cats, and even me
flashes too close, all around!.
There is a moral to this tale,
this thought that I should tether,
I moved to Florida for climate,

Are you anywhere near the Everglads!? You will just have to whether the weather!. It's a virtual mountain and you have to climate!. I guess the gators are happy about the weather
I should move there to lose weight!.

I loved Florida in the winter
when the snow was blowing here
spread my snowbird wings and flew!.
Tried Florida once in June
and thought I was going to melt!
Cured my dream of Florida living
round year twelve months!.
