I know my problem, its plain to me!.
I know my problem, its there for me to see!.
Its so vivid and bright,
like an unwanted light!.
I see him there walking,
he looks my way but I do my best to hide my face!.
He walks closer my way,
my panic I can feel spread!.
He passes by slowly,
looking like hes looking for my face,
but I still hide in my pathetic place!.
I watch him go and silently whisper my secret words,
“I love you” I mouth as he turns the corner,
“forever” silently I breathe!.
For that split second I did catch his eye and my heart
nearly stopped!.
For that one second I felt full of courage,
but when I turned away to hide my face
it was lost,
replaced with fear it was!.
I know my problem, its plain to me!.
I know my problem, its there for me to see!.
Yes I know my problem,
I've fallen in love with my best friend!. !. !.
Not true but I thought it was a good poem, what do you think of my new "work"!?
