So I sat
I waited
I cried
I hated
You
For leaving
My heart was left
needing
Your touch
Your caress
I sat breathless
Not moving
Not thinking
My heart slowly sinking
This pain in my chest
Makes it harder to rest
I just guess
I wasn’t the best
person
You wanted to spend the
Rest of your life with
I’ll try to forget the bliss
Of our relationship
Not long for your kiss
