A poem about my dog...=)?

Question: A poem about my dog!.!.!.=)!?

She would run from me
With those paper thin ears
in the midst of a boiling summer
or the frozen still seasons
that would push us into the house!.
And she'd look at me
with her eyes like polished glass
her 2 inch eyebrows hiding them
And I felt that
she knew what I was saying!.
Even through my poverty in mood
she would listen

Nice poem! I could see and feel the scenes!. I wondered if that first line should be "run to me" instead of "run from me"!? Not suggesting that, but wondering!.

I would suggest spelling out "2" so it reads "!.!.!. two inch eyebrows!.!.!."!.

also, that last line might be even more poignant if you could somehow get rid of the "maybe" without messing up the meter!.

Dog Poem
Your dog is someone special
she always made you feel wanted
Be by your side, when you feel down
A dog is man's or person's best friend
A dog will guard you and your property
As your poem says she is there in any weather
regardless if its summer or winter
will keep your warm when you are cold!.
Often they bring in the newspaper, fetch slippers

Aw, that was very nice, and touching!.!.lol sorry i just really love dogs!. Whether that really happens or it is just in your poem i don't no!. But i feel like that sometimes when i write and my dogs looks at me when i am saying them out loud i wonder what she is thinking!.
