The howling wind Came really Quick It Coiled and Swirled around My hat lifted from my head Then spun along the ground While chasing it The wind did drop The rain come belting down And now Im soaked from head to foot And my hat cannot be found!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i like it!. it's very simple, but you get your point across easily!. keep it up! i'd love to see more!. cheers, noraWww@QuestionHome@Com i like the imagery, but it's not very poetic add more flowery language and add some lines about the feelings you felt or what you thought when your hat fell, when the wind picked it up, and such!. Make it more personal!. Another suggestion would be to capitalize Wind and Ground as opposed to coiled ad swirled!. These are just a few suggestions, but it's your poem, do what you want!. It's not perfect, but it has tons of potential!! Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com honestly, it's a lil elementary!. you don't have any sophisticated words it sounds like a 5th grader wrote it!. work on your rhyming skills, too because in some parts you rhymed and in others you didn't!. There are different types of poems so you should either rhyme the whole thing or ryhme nothing at all for ex: swirled AROUND and then 2 lines later along the GROUND!. you rhyme a lil but that makes your poem sound mediocre!. I do like the idea, though it's cute!.
