Ok my story goes like this a week ago I entered my poem which was the first poem I seriously wrote!. Today a letter came saying that my one n only poem I entered is on the semi- finalist!?!?!?!?!?!!!! So I don't think it's possible n my question is did any1 who enter get anything like that!? I just don't believe it's true n I don't wanna say I wanna publish the poem by making a fool outta myself!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am getting letters from them still!. Throw it in the bin!Www@QuestionHome@Com Any person who submits a poem to that site gets "published" - I've even seen song lyrics from popular music! It's all to get your money!. (Like "Who's Who Among American Students" and the like)!. They put your poem in a book, and then ask if you'd like to pay $50 or so to BUY a copy! Don't do it!. And never go back to that site!. It's a rip off!Www@QuestionHome@Com Seriously they want your money!.!.!.!.!.You have to pay them to put your poem in a collection of poems book with other people who pay and yes they do that to everybody!.!.every time you send them a poem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Poetry!.com is a fraud publishing organization that features it's online writing contest!. It literally accepts 100% of applicants as 'Semi-finalists' in their 'international poetry competition' and sends a letter to the poor victims!. The letter is full of flattery saying that you are a wonderful poet and the 'sectional committee' or 'panel of judges' has decided your poetry is good enough to be published!. They ask a 'modest' payment of $50 plus extra if you want your page on a page of it's own!. Publishing only those who paid, 6000 poems per book at $50-$75 a poem with 60 books published a year is a lot of $$$$!. Flattered writers are quick to give them money and order a few copies of the book they were featured in!. After some time a message saying their poetry was good enough to be read on a cd then asking you to go to some expensive winning writers convention and getting a silver cup comes in!. It's all to leach more money from the ones that haven't found out they've been scammed!. They were even featured on ABC's 20/20!. It's disgusting because the state they're in LETS the continue to operate, despite all the complaints!.
