The bottle cap kids
go trouncing through
hard rock trails with
candy sticks in a death grip
and they don’t hear the rafters
singing and they
don’t see the cars crashing, the
sandstone burning, the aimless pistol
crack tearing flesh from warm life
they only see
sideways through a
bird’s eye and that is better
than not seeing anything

That is true children are very innocent while the world has so many horrible tragedies they have to learn about!. You have to teach them about it so you can help to keep them safe!.I am glad I also teach about God's protection and faith!.It has always worked for me thank goodness!. Oh I see someone said it was about something else!. I guess that is the way art is if it is not explained it is like a puzzle to figure out!. I think sometimes we have enemy's and not even know it, they may hate through jealousy, a misunderstanding, love not reciprocated and many other things but i like to think that even the most hurtful of enemy's can be softened with a caring heart, ears that listen and a non- judgemental attitude!.
