Good actually,
Sounds like something you should place as the third stanza in a poem called The Pursuit of Truth (wink)!. (For other readers, that does not mean she plagiarized, its just been suggested as the third stanza in a poem I'm having yahoo answerers write together based on votes!.)
In all seriousness though, I do like it, and sometime tomorrow when the votes and some other entries come in, it just may find its way into the poem!. I do like stanzas like this one though, mostly because they leave room for the imagination's interpretation, and still reserve the capacity to be blunt and forthright, like being "born in the middle of a brutal war"!. It gives us the context (War) but doesn't take away the reader's right to apply the concept directly, thereby leaving much more room for us to connect it to the different parts of the poem it will find itself in!. also, calling being born in the middle of a brutal war "simple to ignore" captivates the readers' interest since it seems so contradictory; well done!.
PS, be sure to check my question now and then in case you find one you like more than yours and want to give them a thumbs up instead; each thumbs up is counting as a vote!.
Keep writing, I like your style!Www@QuestionHome@Com
