Question: POem for little Johnny !?
Little Johnny said
Farewell to a lonely sun today
The moon said farewell
Gone with his blue balloon
on a holiday
down to Mexico or Liverpool !?
its lounging with cool drinks
at some swimming pool
life turns its own corners
into new rules
Little Jimmy
Ponders where a life went
These old shoes are for rent
Kicked out of home
Too early
Somewhere down in Kent
Tears make rivers
Down alleyways, city streets
Turn a blind eye
If you happen to be
On Fleet Street
Little Johnny said
Farewell to a friendless
Cloud, shrouded in mystery
Shrouded in denial
Passerby’s
Who never give a dime!?
Laugh & sneer
Never a wink or give a damn
Life’s so hopeless
Down the drain
For a street kid
Who lives in pain
Bind your heart & mind
Steel & glass, shatters shine
So long
So goodbye
Sometimes on the Brooklyn bridge
He wished he could fly!?
From the cold, grime
Unforsaken stories
He’s been told
Sometimes life’s all one dimensional
Washed up in its
Own superficial mould!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

He seems to have the resources to travel across the pond and from East to West!. Does he change his name from Johnny to Jimmy as he travels!? Somehow, I miss the point of your poem despite its excellent descriptive quality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What's the question!? Is this your poem and you want me to read it and tell you what I think!?

Well, I think it's a little too long, and yet promising!. I liked the beginning, then, after a while, I sort of lost the thread there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Could it mean that a "street child" is the same - no matter what location!? That they all exist at the same time - different children - different locations - same situation!? Sorry - your story was not too clear!. ?Www@QuestionHome@Com
