Before me lay a pile of color
but no two alike!
Dreaded sock banditos again
this time me… Sherlock!.

Retraced steps from various crime scenes
looked high, low, between
even shone light down the laundry chute!.
Found a bra, wife glad

But no socks! Perplexed…use your damn brain!
A trip first…buy socks!.
Then it dawned on me…magically
I finally knew why!.

It’s the unicorns that take my socks,
smelly feet attracts
Brains are slow sometimes… they had a use
warmers for their horns!

my son uses extra socks to cover the feet on his bed frame!. Four mismatched makes for!. Oh darn it one has a hole! What is happening here!?
I will start again!.!.!.!.
My son protects his bedroom floor from scratches by placing left over socks on the metal feet of his bed frame they are different colours and sizes!. Then he puts a skirt on the box spring and the bed dances !.!. swings to and fro!.to the music of the Birdie on the window sill!.!.!.!. I would be glad to donate our lonely single socks!.

This is all a result of serious stimulus deprivation!. I have been alone for a whole day and now all this poetry! !.!.!. I am over indulging! forgive me!. Wimsey will do it every time!.Thank you !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Washing machines DO eat socks!. I caught my machine choking on a sock not long ago and had to pull it from the belly of the beast!. When I get a new washer and dryer, I'm taking them apart just to find out what else they have eaten!.
