It is perfectly fine ,well constructed and lucid

Japanese haiku can not be translated perfectly into English!. The symbol in Japanese for syllable is not equal to ours!.
So unless you are Japanese or are fluent in the Japanese language you are writing English Haiku and the rules are somewhat flexible!.
17 or less syllables is appropriate!.
Once you have mastered the technique you are in a position to break the rules!. If the rules are broken before you have mastered the technique the inconsistencies are thought to be mistakes!.

I really like your message!. It is optimistic and it reads like a haiku should !.!. one complete thought!. bravo! it makes me want to breath deeply!.

Remember that haiku rules require that we not use capitals and punctuation and we repel any temptation to use repetition , allegory western poetic techniques such as alliteration , personification or similes etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The reason some people disagree with the syllables is because you don't pronounce some the way you give them syllables!. Some say memories has 7, some say 6!. I say 7, but it could be either or!. Some say "mem-ries" and that's where it comes into question!. If you understand what I'm talking about, you'll get what other people are talking about :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know but I tried once myself, but yours is fantastic! any way!. So if you want to add more or less enter the poem just the way it is, in the other contest! you probably win! either way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
