Lost Souls-
Dimly bloodred shadows
Stumble through the nite
Their poor souls are forgotten
A sad and lonely plight
Dancing in the moonlight
They quickly pass us by
Their whispers are but breaths or wind
A hollow saddening sigh
Their footsteps silent drums
Of something not yet known
Marching to the beat we play
They come and come and come
Silently they join us now
We utter not a sound
Fearful, we follow
As they bring us round
Leading a path of dreams
It seems they see us right
But as quickly as they came
They fade into the nite
The sun bringing a new day
Erasing the poor souls
With it’s shining
