Gone…
The world is warming, glaciers melt,
Perfect snowmen turn to dirt,
How long will it be before
They’re gone forever more!?
My heart is burning with the thought,
That my grandchildren may never see snow,
I’ll tell them stories of winter days,
When we glided down the hills!.
Stories of snowflakes and white Christmases,
Of snowball fights and skis,
A tear will slip down my wrinkled cheek,
For what we’ve lost, it’s our mistake!.

Sweetie, you're 14 years old!. It'll be a long time before your cheeks are wrinkled!.
And I don't think you have to worry there won't be snow!. The world has gone through warming and cooling cycles throughout its existence!. There may be less of it in a few years, but a few years later there will likely be more of it!.
We live on a very dynamic planet--one that is always changing!. Our continents are moving, ever so slightly, and the oceans are changing their size and shape, again, ever so slightly!.
We've heard a lot about global warming, and all of us have heard the "Gee, whiz" statistics about it, but a lot of the theories are based on very little solid research!. You may have heard that about 800 or so years ago Greenland experienced a building boom because the climate had warmed to the point they could grow crops and raise farm animals!. Then the climate cooled and now it is warming again!.
Your poem is touching and very sweet!. But I think you are way too alarmed way too soon!.
We need to do what we can to take care of our planet!. Smart people all agree with that--and you are a smart person, so I don't have to tell you that!. So you can help by telling your friends and anybody who listens to conserve, don't litter and to take care of this big rock we live on!. It's going to have to be our home for quite a while and we don't want to turn it into a garbage dump!.
