Wow, I'm surprised by the answers you got for this question!. There are a lot of poems that don't rhyme that would not be considered prose-poems or free-verse!. Think Haiku, Narrative Poetry, Found Poetry, Epic Poetry, Hazel, Sestina, Prose, concrete !.!.!. Undoubtedly there are hundreds or thousands of poetry forms that don't require Rhyme that would not be considered Free Verse!. I wouldn't call The Waste Land free-verse!. I wouldn't call the Iliad and Odyssey free-verse either; they are not free-verse poems nor are they prose poems!. Poems that don't rhyme are still poems!. So just call them poems (ad least that's what I do) unless you know the specific form or structure they are in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
