Question: Anyone to critic this poem!?

The Moor

Wondrous colors on the moor,
Beauty in perfection an open door,
Walk in the heather let spirit feel free!.
No where on earth I would rather be!.

Look to the distance to follow the path,
Spirit says "go" allow heart to laugh,
Forget over the hill there's a city of vice,
Cramming together like headless mice!.

The moor is wild and changes with season,
The spirit knows this and also the reason,
To stay fearful and live over the hill,
Never manifest dreams, hope and free will!.

To lose faith! Kathy and Heathcliffe knew this,
Only brings misery and true loves missed,
So as their spirits roam on the moor,
Take heed have love this side of the door!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, the grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence, where many live in fear!.Fear they may too well enjoy themselves, as you say,"!.!.!.on this side of the door!."
This is a well thought out work of art!. Not only well composed, but it has the rhyme and tempo that make it not only a good read, but an enjoyable one!. It is excellent work!.
As a Poet myself it is good to read the works of others, but rarely can one find someone with POETIC Talent!.

Nature, spirituality and feelings - all the ingredients for the making of a good poem!. Some Americans might know the meaning of "moor" and/or "heather", but being American of Scottish descent, I am acquainted with the terms!.
