See the child at play!.
In his mind he sees,
elf and fairy spin,
like colored tops!.
His leaps are higher,
his twirls faster,
his steps lighter!.
Love of life,
permeates the ground,
on which his feet touch!.
Feel the joy in the air,
he dances for the fun of it!.
The sky is bluer,
the air is sweeter!.

His ignorance of the future,

Ah to be that child!.!.!. nicely painted, specially on a day I don't feel too enthused at being an adult!.

One suggestion: the commas at the end of the lines gave the read a choppy feel, for me, I would dump them!.
