William Wordsworth! 'Daffodils' is one of the most famous poems ever written in the English language!
Lord Byron, Keats, Emily Dickinson, Bysshe and Shelley are also pretty big names in poetry, especially the Romantic genre!. I would say Emily Dickinson is the most famous female poet!.
War poets - Wilfred Owen!. His poetry is some of the best you'll ever read!.
