Deep Winters Night
Black as night, yet clear as day
That is how these eyes recall this play
On a mountain top stands Edan
A knight broken with pain
Along side her, brother Harken
A fellow knight, who beholds her strain
The night sky bespeckeled by stars, and intoxicated with moon
The Knights engage in a moment that will end to soon
Edan's soul overflows, over walls she can no longer hold
Harken takes heed, he knows the words to which is being told
Anger, suffering, and lost hope
Heavy baggage which Edan can bare no more
Her tattered soul desperately clutches deaths door
Comfort, hope, and love Harken knows she needs
For this is what his soul bleeds
Strong, noble, and bold
This Knight Harken is called
For Edan this night he will uphold
In his arms she falls, weathered and worn
It is on the mountain top that they'll ride the storm
