Prose needs punctuation and all that civilized stuff!.

Good Morning!Www@QuestionHome@Com

When they tried to teach me poetry back in school, it would have a comma after most lines!.!.!.or a period!.!.!.I guess that was just school poetry!. Now it can be anything from the many various formal forms to anything goes (which I am starting to like better)!.

In fiction (or other) prose writing, the punctuation is a lot more important!.!.!.but, many authors have been disregarding all of those 'rules' for many years now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you're going to begin each stanza with a capital letter, you at least need a period at the end!. Sorry, I punctuate automatically and believe in consistency!. That's why so much of my poetry becomes prose and yours is always poetry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
