INVADED
It started as all other days,
Leave bed before it's light!.
Feed all the chickens and the cows,
The routine is not slight!.
A lot of work has been done now,
And it stills feels like night!.
When I wike up I had no thought,
That I'd get such a fright!.
A saucer shape from nowhere flew,
And landed here by me!.
I knew not who would fly this thing,
I did not want to see!.
My mind said to my feet to run,
But they refused to go!.
A little door then opened up,
It moved so very slow!.
An orange glow came forth from it,
A shadow standing still,
A voice came forth and said to me,
A voice so cold and shrill!.
We've heard a rumor up on Mars,
That some here want to go!.
And read and write and ply their trades,
Beneath our twin moon's glow!.
You cannot breathe our atmosphere,
You would then surely die!.
But if your work be good as ours,
