"rise"

Rainfall tastes just like my blood,
blood that falls enchants my soul!.
Standing alone in a forest of mud,
is this by design, my only role!?

Shining so bright, yet still so dark,
Godess of lust and fiery desire!.
The gargoyles bite worse than his bark,
come back to me angel, release your fire!.

Is this a dream or is this just me!?
my feelings now stolen, no longer mine!.
Rising above the dead stormless sea,
reach out to me, just give me a sign!.

I raise my fist to the northern sky,
scream in anguish and nauseating pain!.
I'll not surrender, nor ever die,

These 2 lines really intrigue me:
