I need help with writing a poem!?!?!? Ok…i have to write a poem that answers these questions: Some meanings and ideas we think about when we read the word “dust” How are we human like dust!? What r some similarities between a dust and a soul!? And it has to have the word dust… can u pleases help me!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: here's some well-used phrases: trampled in dust dust in the wind ashes to ashes, dust to dust gathering dust dust gathers on: land, furniture, books, mantels, the Wild West, the Dust Bowl (great depression), everything, things that aren't used, the moon, electronics, ancient or old things dust is: blown around, insubstantial, cloudy, a sign of age, a sign of inactivity some rhymes: must just rust bust crust trust gust and like the joker said, lust don't use too many, pick a verse form without many rhymes - they're better received by most teachers nowadays (unless you are a truly gifted rhymer like say Poe) Here's a quick half-poetic brainstorm The ancient hero bones in the dust sword turned to rust from the past beckons "Follow me" his deeds were written in the sand forever lost Thunder and wind, the tattered scarecrow spins this way, and that, surrounded by the spinning clouds blinded by the dust Grandmother always strove to keep her house clean and shiny now she leaves the battle be she knows the dust will soon gather on her as wellWww@QuestionHome@Com I won't write it for you, sadly!. However !.!.!. Humans are like dust because we die and return to the earth - return to the dust we were made from (Genesis)!. So when you think of dust, you should think of death!. It also links to the Dust Bowl, which brought death and depression!. Dust and the soul is harder because the soul is obviously immortal!.
