Question: Concrete Poem!?
I want to do a Concrete Poem about a tree!. My language arts teacher is VERY stupid and unfair!. We have never done or gone over concrete poetry in her class and i think i did one a long time ago in 4th grade!. So anyway, can anyone start off for me by writing at least 2 sentences then i'll take it from there!. Thank you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The summer breeze blew gently through the leaves,
Of the large oak that could be seen just beyond the eaves!.
It's branches barely shook or shuttered,
Nor the green growth even threaten to flutter
To the ground to rest at the roots below,
The trunk of that old tree planted decades ago!.

To make it concrete, arrange the words in the shape of a tree!.!.!. I suggest starting at the top (leaves) working down to the bottom (roots)!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a type of poetry that you use certain words to describe something!. It's like a way of using words to make visual poetry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You could try writing upwards saying like
It starts from a seed
And grow upward to the sky
or something like that about growth and living!. Just a thought!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
