When I was 9, I came home from Trick-or-Treating to find that someone had soaped the "F" word into the four windows of our garage door!. I knew what I was looking at, but I figured I could get away with saying it if, as on Jeopardy, I gave the answer in the form of a question!. I walked up to Mom and said, "What does F*** mean!?"

"That is something people do AFTER they are married" she answered calmly!. "Where did you hear that!?"

I showed her the garage door!.

She used a big bucket of soap on the windows then on my mouth!.!.!.

I knew right from the beginning it was going to be fun,
He'd chase me around the yard, and oh how I'd run!.
He was devoted,smart, fix anything kind of guy
He gave me confidence, even though I was shy!.
He was a diplomat with Mom when there was something I wanted,
And stood up for me, when my older brothers taunted!.
He was my hero, my confidentante, the best friend I ever had!.
