A poem should make sense!. Always!. Perhaps the reader may not get it, but it ought to be there!. I could say "The sun rose and spat morning into the sky!." Makes sense if you're not ready for the day!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In a way yes, and in a way no!.!.!. I think if you have a deep enough meaning to it!.!.!. that you feel you can create a metaphor that other people may or may not grasp it just adds to the beauty because it allows people to interpret it differently!.!.!. making the words mean more to them as a person!.!.!.!. which is pretty much something amazing!.!.!. but if it's just for the sake of being nonsensical!.!.!. I guess, it could be a waste of your time!.!.!. and other peoples' thoughts!.!.!. but, again, it could make perfect sense to someone else!.!.!. so, I guess!.!.!. there's not really any possible answer, because what you consider to make sense, I may not!.!. and vice versa!.!.!.
