Yes: the author is specifically making a comment about the colonized, and how the colonized is willing to trade his life for a few moments of bliss and interaction with the colonizer!. From a Marxist standpoint, you could say that the Queen represents the camera obscura, the illusions that keep us from understanding the true reality of our situation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There have been a few women in my life that I would have been glad to sacrifice my life in return for a few paltry moments of cheap meaningless sex!. From ants to uncles, I guess we're all born that way!.
