Question: Catch The Paper Airplane!.!?
I wrote this poem on my blog yesterday and it was really really good, long but good and then when I clicked enter it got deleted so I made a shorter version of it simpily because I couldn't remember it all!. Well!.!.!.!.!.here goes everything!.
Catch The Paper Airplane
It's time to leave my nest!.
I spread my wings and look where I look best!.
But the pain and disaster I see!.!.!.
just scares me!.
I want to go back home now!.
But I want to fly, and I want to soar across the beautiful sky!.
So I'm going to catch the paper airplane!.
I'm going to catch the paper airplane!.
Let it teach, let it teach us all!.!.!.

Save your own material "first"!. Then post from your saved material!. I have all my poems on a flash drive!. Anyway, copy and paste is so much easier and less costly than losing original material!.
I like your poem's premise alot!.
I think you could shorten and fine tune it a bit!.
May I suggest:
Time to leave the nest
spread my wings
take a look around
but the pain
and disaster I see
just scares me
I want to go back home now!.
Yet I want to fly; to soar
across a beautiful sky
so I'm going to catch
the paper airplane
let it teach me,
