Question: Ever felt more a part of the universe at night!?
Night Companions

Lady night
dances across the horizon
flourishing her skirts
of blue velvet
bringing closure
to the day
with a snap of her fan;
leaving a spray of jewels!.

Jewels
that frame
the window
to the universe!.

The moon and stars,
ever displayed
in night skies,
eternal comfort for
searching hearts;
companions
in the heavens
for lonely souls!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have always been a night owl, and love stargazing, so the answer to your Q, from my point of reference, is Yes!Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is lovely, and yes the hush of evening if by chance you
are able to view a star lit sky, bright moon glow, especially
over a lake, one does feel at peace and oneness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It seems the night has been designated - the time - to gaze upwards!. The expanse of darkness on earth - is the window to the light of the heavens!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love it! it's so graceful and full of peace, but also with a bit of romanticism, and great imageryWww@QuestionHome@Com

It doesn't quite work like that in New York City!. Sometimes I have trouble remembering that the sky is not a rectangle!. Your poem made me feel jealous!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
