Question: Will there be any Memorializing tomorrow!?
*****
A Quick Note
by TD Euwaite

I dinna’ ‘av the time to write
the fight, you see, raged on that night
and toryable, the sights I seen
the plight of fallen friends and fiends
obscene to me, a darkened dream
inside of which, the devil screams…

But battling is muffled now
and I will pen me words somehow
of bloody war and armaments
of bugle calls and folded tents
the many cartridges I spent
on Hun I sent to hell with spit…

Generals send word again
the second wave must now begin
and Sergeant Murphy bravely said
no matter what the price of lead
"We are in this fight to win
no matter what the cost in men!."

Decoration Day!?

Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day!. After World War II, the use of "Memorial Day" became more common, but was not declared the official name by Federal law until 1967

I want Decoration Day back so I can decorate my boyfriends room!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the bullets fly and blood is lost,
now is it really worth the cost!?
my pen shakes my love, my dear,
it is so horrifying here,

i write in blood, for ink is gone,
its line of order is so long,
the blood, oh it comes by the litre,
its on the walls and oh saint peter!

the bombs have dropped and time is up,
ill be back later my fair pup,
or maybe not, oh im not sure,
perhaps ill hide behind the door!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

War is hell in any era, Too many eras past, present,
Like the song sings, "When will they ever learn!." Never I guess as long as powers of evil and greed survive each and every generation anew! on one side of the ocean or another!.
our youth suffers to battle, be it for reason or not!. May God be with them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
