Fighting for freedom is costly!.
Leaving loved ones behind is
Always hard, yet we
Go where we are told!.
Do whatever we must do!.
Rest is only a memory, a ghostly
Apparition I knew many yesterdays ago!.
Peeking into the yesterdays I move forward,
Each day a new challenge awaits!.
Daring me to drop my guard!.
Cause that's when death comes
Over the hill to sit a spell and
Feign concern with it's
Faux friendship, which I destroy!
