Question: A poem written at work!. Dark and deep, is it deep enough!.!?

"eternity"

From a gray reality,
sweet dreams turn to nightmares!.
They keep their mysteries deep,
in the valley of hell!.

Depths of a doomed mind,
brink of a blood red abyss!.
Disembodied and dissolved,
calmly beats a black heart!.

Limits of endless agony,
soul full of pain, resist!.
Bleakness hangs over me,
standing beside eternity!.

Between past and future,
the dying of my dreams!.
Hopelessly lost again,

I am more aware now then ever before that poetry is first and foremost to empty the soul of the poet, not to please it's readers, but it's beneficial when it does!. Did it empty your soul!? If it did, than it is deep enough!. If it didn't, you must go deeper!. Thanks for what you have taught me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it was very expressive!. I wouldn't call it dark per say just full of emotions!. that all you can really hope for!. Emotion is the soul bass of poetry!.
it was a little hard to understand it didn't always rhyme though its not essential try it with rhyming!. keep up the good workWww@QuestionHome@Com
