Question: Is poetry!.com a fake!?!?

i usally submit my poems there, and just got a letter saying they want to publish one!. Is this real or just a way to get money!? Has anyone else used this site, an can be of some help!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Poetry!.com publishes selected poems in hopes that the authors will buy the book!. Although not all poems are accepted, their standards are fairly low!.

There is no benefit to the authors who buy the book except an ego boost!.

I have had more than one poem accepted but have not bought the book!.

Is it the site I have listed under "sources"!? If so, it's not a fake!. A few years ago I submitted a poem to the site!. Soon I got a letter saying they wanted to publish it (and then a bunch of other offers to buy things, be part of some sort of society, and go on these trips I think)!. They did, and I found out that it's in this book called "Invoking the Muse" or something!. Anyway, my poem was in there (my aunt or uncle bought one, and it's been spread through the family), and it was sort of cool!. I submitted a poem called "Poetry Sucks"and they sent me a letter saying they wanted to publish it for a certain fee!. Then I got more letters about it and how I would have to pay money for this and that, it's so funny because I don't even think they read the poem!.

I've used this, but I don't pay any attention to the thing!. My mom doesn't want me to have any of my stuff published!. My friend, although, has had her stuff published all over the place!. Because she used it!. So, it's not a fake :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
