Question: First poem for Friday!. Is the imagery good!.!?

"feckless"

To lie, to die, to cry,
drowned in a well of sighs!.
All my pain bears his name,
ignorance dies by its own lies!.

Tears of humiliation,
crying under Apollyon's spell!.
In credence of love,
underground, a dream apart!.

Flesh is just fantasy,
desperate, no less the same!.
Tasting my tears,
the last days of spring!.

We were raised to fail,
feckless by design!.
Eloquent but useless,

not only is the poem like a masterpiece in watercolor paints as far as imagery, the canvas itself shows through, woven of ancient insipid cruelties and darkly obliqued atrocities and beyond it all is the lighting: diffused pain and varying shades of sorrow and futile regrets!.

this definitely goes in my favorites for the dark prince file

you are so eloquent when you aren't in the middle of crisis, though i dig the angrier dirges that you write as well, this is much more beautifully broken-- more close to my heart, it puts that lump in my throat!.

By the title the poet is saying that life, efforts or something is vanity and useless!. The first three lines are thoughtful, well put and unique!. The fourth line, I can't connect yet, still working with it!. Next two verses, your ideas are uniquely put, but causes one to have to deliberately think rather than enjoying quickly what one reads!. Last verse!.!.!. thoughts seem so hopeless!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
