Question: Is the problem with high-flying poems that they come crashing down very hard!?
******
Above the sunlit cloud-tops
where atmosphere is rare,
I drift along the jet stream,
miles into the air!.
I sail above pollution
confusion and despair,
I don’t look down
onto the ground…judge
link or compare!.
I fly high, up up in the sky
above, in rarified air…

After reading your example I would say that even having the suggestion of crashing down very hard controls my reading!. One can not even think for a second of the falling if one wants to experience the flight in full!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's got to be kind of hard reading a poem that is this rarefied!. Does it need some oxygen!? What you penned doesn't as it flies well at any altitude!. Compliments avatar Du jour!Www@QuestionHome@Com

A very lovely poem that didn't crash down, yet we all know that what goes up, must come down; thus, we will be waiting with baited breath for the next stanza!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
