Unappreciated Love

I always loved you!.
Forgiving was never a roadblock!.
There were never shortcuts or detours
To make you lose your way!.
My path was always filled with light!.

I gave you everything I could think of,
No expense was spared,
No cost was considered!.
All I asked in return was that you loved,
Me!.
Your mouth said you did,
Your heart became mute!.

Soon you didn't return,
My calls!.
I kept getting your "voicemail"!.
Yet when you were down,
You called on
Me!.
I was there!.
When you got on your feet
You forgot all about
Me!.
I still love you!.
I just want you to come home to me!.

It talks about your love for someone
however the person would be unappreciative
Not returning voice-mails
or calls
