Question: What do echoes tell you!?
History Echoes

Stacked so high
The footsteps that passed
Connected
Feelings, history

The hunters
Searching, taking food
Are hunted
Bones lay witness too

Farmers now
Sowing, reaping food
Starving cold
Sod houses buried

Merchants sell
Building, glass and stone
Serving coin
Poor are pushed away

Angels dwell
Puzzled, footsteps here
That was man!?
History echoesWww@QuestionHome@Com

This poem is so very thoughtful and intriguing!. It will all come down to the echoes of footsteps when man, or each man, leaves this earth!. There is much drama and pathos invoked with your spare, well-chosen words!. I love many of the lines!. "Bones lay witness " and "Puzzled, footsteps here" are as great as poetry gets!. Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
