For Granny

Woe be to you
who so disapprove
of proper poetic
protraction!.

When Grandmothers post,
don’t brag and boast,
or report their chatty
infractions!.

Pie crusts in prose,
the scent of a rose,
carefully penned for perusal!.

Left here to cure,
a sample so pure,
who cares about cold disapproval!.

Ere Granny goes to Greece
perhaps she'll set you straight
for her nose is so very pure
when she espies an edit

Huh!?

I believe in respecting ones elders, however, wrong (as seen in attitudes or actions) has no statue of limitations, not even age, and should be challenged!. Senility may be a mitigating factor all right, however I've found that "senility" not limited to age, so don't let numbers fool you!. Having said that, I believe everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but in a forum such as YA, it is expected that it will be challenged!.!.!.!.pies and roses notwithstanding!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
