Blessing or Curse

A split screen
in her head
endlessly recalling the past
even as she speaks to you,
an ordinary woman who
remembers every
moment of her life from
infancy in the crib!.
Give him a date
and he remembers
every moment of
that day’s events;
where he was
whom he saw
but can’t remember
to pay his bills on time!.
I arise from bed at six
and by Noon I can not
remember what I had

Remembering is important like when to take out the trash!.
Or who you thought you might have kissed at the office bash!
A song on the radio that brings back a smile,
You dance and remember just for awhile!.
But there are things that you like not to remember
Like he left you on a sunny day in September!.
Your birthday, your morgage, your car payment is due!.
Your weight,so many, just to mention a few!.

Brilliance and wonder!. I, too, am very much a person of the last stanza persuasion!.!.!.alas, I do not think that I would wish total recall, every memory of every time love was denied being fresh in my memory, seems more like a hell than a haven!. Sometimes I am thankful for the things I can forget, I think I would go crazy if I could remember everything!.!.!.although my husband will argue that fact and say that I DO remember everything heheWww@QuestionHome@Com
