Question:

Please help! My ex-wife wrote the poem (below) and it apparently is not completely correct in terms of the French grammer!. Can someone please help!? I want to be able to see it corrected and know what she was saying/meaning when she wrote it!.

Je t’adore pour tu es la
Plus belle saison du ma vie

Nous avions lu le ciel
La lune l’avaít nous raconté
Ce qui avait eu rien
Sans nous, j’ai rien

Personne ne comprís
Toi et moi, nous devions d’ ête ensemble
Je vivait pour toi
Ton visage etait avec moi!.

Ellie got some of it right, but not all of it!. For some lines, I am not sure because I don't know exactly what the intended meaning was!.

Nous avions lu dans le ciel,
La lune nous avait raconté,
Ceux qui n'avaient rien!.
Sans nous, je n'ai rien
(We had read it in the sky/ The moon had told us / About those who have nothing!. / Without us, I have nothing)!.

Personne ne comprenait!.
Toi et moi, nous devions être ensemble
Je vivais pour toi
Ton visage était avec moi!.
(Nobody understood!. / You and I, we had to be together!. / I lived for you / Your face was with me)!.

I don't speak French too well, but I notice your word order is out of whack!. If you go to www!.freetranslation!.com they will ussually translate the word order which will help you rework it!. Play with your word order back and fourth between English and French, so you can change it until it crosses over correctly!. For example:

If I want to say, Do you speak French!? Suppose I write Vu Parle Francais in my poem!? Not correct right!? The translation program will show Parle vu Francais, when I write what I want to say!. I will know better how to correctly work wording in my poem!? The translation program will also help with other aspects of grammar, as well as provide you some new words and ideas, for your poems!.
