But it must be undone,
the wrong they did do!.
The train brought us
to a nightmare come true!.
And it still remains a mystery,
how I ever survived
through
Auschwitz!.
People are not numbers!
We have names,
just like you!.
We have a name,
a background!.
Yet I see this doesn't matter;
I am a Jew!.
I undergo
grueling pain,
day after day,
from a people so vain!.
Thankfully,
I have made it our alive,
yet I strive to understand,
how they could
reprimand so many!.
6 MILLION
to be exact!.
i cannot fathom
their inhumane way to act!.
Now, as I sit here,
many years later,
I cannot shed
One
More tear!.
For the number etched upon
my arm,
is an alarm
to my soul
to keep its faith!.
Even though I have
survived,
many could not!.
Their battle was not fought,
yet the war is now
over!.
So, I am asking you now as
I must leave soon!.
i ask of you,
that if there ever comes a time
of dark,
which embarks your way!.
