Question: Whay is poetry REALLY about!?

I am a poet, I do it because I love words, and I have a deep emotional nature!.

But what is it all about!?
Is there a specific reason as to why people, like me, do it!?

i write poetry to express myself in a way that i find amusing or interesting or sad or funny!. other then just ordinary conversation!. i have many things on poetry!.com and i bring it all from my life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well!. I believe that poetry is everything and anything!. It can harbor deep emotions, or surface love!. Its a very important thing to me!. I do love writing!. I believe that poetry is not a specific thing!. Its more of an entity, always there, but intangible!. Poetry is in words, pictures, drawings, emotions, nature, everything!. well when stuff is happening in my life, i go and write poems, songs, and raps, depending on my mood, to get what i have to say about the situation out in my own unique and creative way!. so to me, poetry is a way to get what i have to say out in my own words!. it just halps me express myself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all I will answer that!.!.!.!.no your not stupid!!!!! I am also a poet and poetry lover!.!.!.!.I write from the emotional experiences also and because I love to express myself with words!. Whatever I write about I find that if I have a release for it in words I have done myself justice and with my words I may help someone else!.
