Alfred Housman was a brilliant poet who knew how to turn a phrase and create rhymed poetry the way it "should" be done!. For anyone whose written rhymed poetry and had me review their work stating that rhymes should sound natural, almost accidental and as if the rhyming word was the only one might fit!.!.!.they should read Housman, because that is exactly what he does, over, and over, and over again!. Yes, the language is a bit stilted for today, but not if you consider they were written over 100 years ago!
