WHAT TO DO

A little angel,
Innocence,
hovers above
with weapons of war!.

But swords
into ploughshares
have already
been beaten!.

Heart shaped,
razor tips,
a metaphor,
for love is pain!.

When his aim
flies true,
and the heart is pierced,
the question begins!.

Do we open
to love or fear,
do we return
this life-threatening gift!?

getting into my truck and driving the road
