Am I vain or insecure!?
To the limit I push you
Forcing the sweat to pour
Forcing my limbs to ache
Thoughts keeping me going
Striving to perfect
My insecurities; never before
Have I felt this way!
My heart grew, creating
My skin to stretch
To a size I never felt before I
found real love
The weight has all shed
Except for 4 pounds
… Soon this will be gone!
Toning up
Pushing my self further
Back to my pre – life
Days;
Maybe im vain!
I’ve always been slim
Having my baby
brought out my
body worries!.
Even writing my poem
I feel I need to explain
to you …!. For my own self
reassurance!.
That I am a slim girl
…!. A UK size 8
But I need my flat
Stomach back
to feel like me for summer
And this I will achieve
I will look better than before!.
