Question: Do you know what to think of this one!.!.!.!?
To throw caution to Wind
And Burn the final word
Drenched in pain of not knowing
Upon what Earth you stand
_
I Wandered the ever roaming hall of thought,
Only to find it dry and bare,
no words to comfort all my hurt,
no water left to Scry!.
The healing woman would not her hand lay down
though in her ongoing work,
her death would be brought
and she would sin for her gift
if it meant the lifting of another’s pain from wound!.
She bade me near and whispered soft,
“you are the one to take my cross,”
Her meaning not so clear to me
though deeper still,
I knew!.
“I have no power in my veins,
Mine is not the line of strength!.
a mother with a drunken mouth,
a father with no honor found!”
Persisting that I Would find heart,
she Threw herself into deep sleep!.
There she drifted off,
never breathing mortal breath!.
I was left, in confusion
and numbness of my mind!.
Muse and magic all forsaken,
Left only with senile prophesy!.

Wow, this struck me as amazing!. I get the picture of receiving an inheritance from someone close to you, an inheritance of power, of the family name, or the family secrets!. While you enshroud it in mysticism, I see something very true for the day, very frightening, chilling!. The line sticking with me right now is "Left with only senile prophecy!." Remember, the prophecy of the old is most often the greatest thing you can receive!. Be confused, yes, but cherish every word!. You'll find it means something someday!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it is some of your best!.!.!.!.!. It doesn't quite have the emotional 'umf' that the Siren poems have but it is still a fun read!. AND I like it that it does not rhyme and yet it has such a strong rhythm!.!.!. it leads you through a hall of thought and you come out, regardless of weather you love it or not, changed in some deep way!.!.!.

Wow that was just so great and with so much sorrow and so much strength!. I loved this as it's a great poem with in a story !.!.Your words have so much truths and they hit right to the bone' and not much poetry can do this!.!.I read this 3 times and every time i just said whoa she is so great with her words as they came to the core in my soul!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
