Dreams

I dream of starlight dust and moonbeams in my hair!.
My twilight wonder years are made of rainbow stars,
chasing colors around a lighted sky!. Beyond the
clouds are gold and silver wishes of my childhood
fantasies, untouched by father time!.

Cream puffs filled with little hearts, dancing to a lullaby!. Tricolor ribbons and bright colored ponies made of coral bells and wishing wells!. Sand castles made of gingerbread cookies and lollipop flags, forever loved, forever mine!.

Ice cream clouds passing by my window with clown like faces and sugar plum smiles!. Candy kisses sailing upon a midnight moon!. Gumdrops pouring down from the havens to lay at my feet!. Cupcake balloons and jelly bean dresses are all apart of a simple place in time, that is with me still!.

Sunshine flowers with picture mirror faces, pink lemonade ponds and teddybear crayons!. Baby dolls dressed in yellow daisy dresses and buttercup shoes, polka dot bubble gum and marshmallow ducks!. Jumping jack snowballs, butterfly biscuits, purple daffodils and, I am a dreamer of dreams!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

WHERE’S MY SWIMMING LESSON

I think of you when I’m happy,
And I think of you when I’m sad!.
I think of you when I’m lonely,
And I think of you when I’m mad!.

You make me feel warm when I’m cold!.
You make me feel young when I’m old!.
You make me feel loved when I’m hated,
It’s for you — all these mornings that I’ve waited!.

You said you won’t push me, to tell you that I love you
— face to face I mean, because you know that I do!.
You said that when I decide to tell,
You hope it’s not too late!.
I’m sure it won’t be,
Because after all, it’s fate!.

Darling, I assure you
You had me at hello!.
When you say I turn away
You make me feel very low!.

It’s because of you I have no heart,
you’re unaware of my feelings
You’ll pierce it with a dart!.
You took it away and forgot to give it back,
I’ll change for you I promise
Just tell me what I lack!.

If it’s desire
You’re a liar!.
If you’re a liar
I’ll be sure to admire!.

Because I’ve loved you with all my heart
and that should be enough
But it’s not so I ask you
Why are you making it so tough!?

I don’t want anything, nothing you can’t give
I just want you to know, it’s for you that I live
I’m not asking you to watch me walk down the isle
You don’t even have to say anything, just look at me and smile

I ‘m sure I can be selfish
if it concerns having you
It’s my one and only wish
It can make my skies turn to blue

Again and again on candles I blew
with every bit of belief,
although it’s nothing new
questions unanswered, I won’t lose hope
questions unasked, I’ll learn to cope

Whenever I feel lonely or hurt
The sweet aroma of your shirt,
Takes the pain away like a simple high
Until I breathe to realize it’s a lie

All through my life, when you’ll be away
I’ll wait for that time,
that uncertain someday
Because all I can do for now is miss
I’m sure if I come any closer,
you’ll lose all your bliss

I’ve changed my mind,
You’ve turned me blind!.
I can’t be selfish,
not with you at least
because I’m sure I would view myself
as a ruthless hungry beast

Replay it in your mind
when we were both so kind
When you held my hand
In that fairy tale land

But then you let it go
and why I couldn’t understand
and right that crushing second
I was alone in the sand

Maybe it’s because I can’t fit you in my heart
For you’re larger than life and love in any form of art
And now the sand flows in an hourglass, representing my love
Every so often it reflects a white dove
So no matter how many times you turn it about
I promise to you it won’t ever run out

It’s you who taught me to fly
That day when you told me “don’t lie”
You’re the reason I smile and cry
It’s you who put the pain in goodbye

Feel free to come back
I won’t question you at all
you’ll find me in the same place,
in the sand by that wall

I’m sure I’ll do you no good!.
I can love you til the end!.
But just let me have your heart
even if it is just to amend!.
