FREEZING RAIN

They told me
that it was
natural,
that everyone,
did it!.
They never saw
the freezing rain!.

They said,
it's all right,
it never hurt
anyone!.!.!.too much!.
They've never heard
of freezing rain!.

They smiled and
watched me
sail away,
they said,
"now she'll be fine!."
They've never felt
the freezing rain!.

For when I left them
and was with you,
I took your hand in mine,
and we walked together!.!.!.
until I let it go,
sure that my mind,
knew what was best!.

I let you slip away,
walk away,
fade away!.!.!.
leaving me in
